The project will be inaugurated during the “Reliable partner 2019” conference, where Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz will be the guest of honour.
Time and place: 12 February 2019, 10 a.m. – 11.30 a.m., at the Polish Press Agency’s press centre (ul. Bracka 6/8)
In the face of ever increasing levels of foreign investment in Poland, which amounted to nearly EUR 13 bln in the year 2017, it is becoming essential to analyse which foreign investors in particular have a hand in Poland’s development and in what way.
The goal of the “Reliable Partner” programme is to display high-class foreign investors who have the greatest and the most positive impact on Polish economy and society. We want the general public, and the politicians in particular, to be aware of which foreign investors deserve recognition and particular attention. The selection of the programme’s organisers guarantees the fulfilment of these objectives. The Republican Foundation, a socio-political think tank, is responsible for the expertise and concept, and the Polish Press Agency PAP offers its media patronage.
The ”Reliable Partner – Foreign Investors’ Certification Programme“ project consists of four elements:
1) Assessment of Oceny Wpływu Inwestora Zagranicznego (OWIZ);
OWIZ is an original methodology of assessing the influence of foreign investors that was created by the Republican Foundation. The assessment of the influence of an investor is analysed based on 21 standardised indicators grouped into four main categories: Innovativeness, Economy and Rooting, Human Capital, Environmental Protection and Local Community.
2) Exposition in reports dedicated to foreign investors;
Foreign investors participating in the project will be presented in the “100 Years of Foreign Investment in Poland” and “Foreign Investors in Poland: Analysis of Their Influence on Economy and Society”.
3) Participation in key political and economic discussions;
During the Economic Forum in Krynica and the 590 Congress in Rzeszów, the companies participating the project will have the chance to actively participate in, among others, debates dedicated to Poland’s policies towards foreign investors.
4) Communication support;
Foreign investors participating in the project will have access to the communication tools offered by the Polish Press Agency.
